LIGHTS is helping those with intellectual disabilities live independently in their communities by supporting families every step of the way.

Through fundraised dollars LIGHTS provides interim support of up to $25,000/year for up to five years to families who cannot afford the start-up costs of independent living such as rent, utilities, caregiver costs and personal needs. These funds help bridge early cash flow needs while families seek additional resources, including community resources, and government funding, to assume these costs in the long term.
